We were sitting on the porch at the table having lunch (turkey/cheese/asparagus roll-ups) when we saw what appeared to be two reddish-brown cats running through the yard. They were not cats but young foxes! They went to the edge of the cliff where there were soft piles of grass clipping and made themselves comfortable. After a while they froliced with each other. We saw one of their parents a few days ago carrying dinner to them so their den must be close-by.
Twenty different kinds of birds have come to the bird feeders on the porch so far. There are other birds in the yard that go for insects and worms. Today we saw three bluebirds looking over the birdhouse.
The foxes were a great sight for us all. The rollups were an excellent treat for taste buds and eyes. Thanks for a great day. R
