This is the view from the hotel room in Brooklyn.
In order to avoid New York City traffic we came into Brooklyn through the back door, coming over the Verrazano Bridge from Staten Island instead of over the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan.
The trip from Clarion Pennsylvania went better than expected although near the Pennsylvania/New Jersey state line on I-80, the traffic in all lanes came to a complete standstill because of an accident. Eventually we were able to snake our way across two lanes of parked cars and exited. At the nearest town, a kind lady at McDonalds drew a map which helped us get back on I-80 on the other side of the accident.
The scenery in Pennsylvania is breathtakingly beautiful. It reminded me of Bavaria (Bayern).
Wasn't "Phyllis" able to help you to get back on 1-80? D.
