Just saw a rainbow at the edge of the clouds. What a surprise! We are on the Celtic Sea on the way to Faraday Fracture Zone, an undersea mountain range. These are new terms to us. Have you heard of these places? From New York to Hamburg an hour is lost almost every day and on the return trip gained back again. It's not the same as jet-lag when 6 hours are gone or gained in one day but nevertheless it disturbs one's circadian pattern a bit. However the rolling of the ship eventually rocks one to sleep regardless of the time.
Those terms are new to me also. I have never heard of those places. There is so much to learn. D
ReplyDeleteI probably saw information re: Faraday Fracture Zone on the History Channel. I remember some newly discovered mountain range but don't know if it was same one. I forgot to mention that the cheese on Daisy picture looked tempting. Did you have any samples? L.S.
ReplyDeleteAtom: Ein Regenbogen auf dem Meer muß schöner sein als an Land. Die Faraday Facture Zone ist durch die Verschiebung der Kontinentalplatten entstanden.
ReplyDeleteGoogle spits back mostly journal articles when you input "Faraday Fracture Zone", no Wikepedia entry. You are definitely not the only one who hadn't heard of it (I certainly didn't)
