What a sight!

We found the perfect perch to see Hamburg as the ship left the harbor. It was a sort of balcony on an open deck with room for two chairs. The waving and cheering crowds along the shore were unbelievable and scores of boats, large and small preceeded and followed after the ship. It was sunset when the ship got underway and as it got darker the little boats put on their lights and we could see flashbulbs go off on shore as we travelled miles up the Elbe to the North Sea.

  2. Hello, Are most of the same people on the ship going back to New York? Do you have the same Ladies sharing your dinner table? How about Bert? Is he on this ship? You must have so many happy memories to tell us about . D
