We no sooner got to the house with the U-Haul trailer when the telephone rang and the realtor said that closing would be on October 29th. Perfect timing! We loaded the trailer and brought things to Apple Valley. There are a few things left at the house that we will haul to the apartment in the car. The leaves are still up on the tree so there might not be a massive raking job before we leave. Praise be to God!
Wow! The closing is on my birthday, as you predicted, or maybe you hoped for it to be before my birthday. There are leaves everywhere on the ground here in Minnesota--hope they stay on the trees for another week for you! Why are there 2 words underlined in this post and the previous one?

Which two words were underlined? I didn't underline them at my end and they did not show up as underlined on the Apple computer in Apple Valley when I checked on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteOur friends from Meissen said they would work on translating their plum cake recipe for you but I told them you could read the recipe in German. It is measurements in grams that make it tricky.
Well, on your u-haul post right now, "job" is underlined, and in your comment above, "work" and "recipe" are underlined. I think it is maybe a sneak advertising ploy, because I saw works underlined in another person's blog that I read, and when I clicked on them, it was an advertisement.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a German dictionary to translate the recipe for plum cake! Love, Linda
