At sunrise today we scored three sightings at once: A beautiful deer came to the edge of the woods and stayed for a long time munching low hanging leaves while a Mallard couple lounged on the grass and a cardinal arrived for breakfast at the feeder.
A lucky three kinds at once. Glad to know the wildlife is finding to your neck of the woods. More will come I'm sure as the spring turns to summer. Love R
It truly has been an unusually beautiful spring. Andrew and I attended a bird banding at the local nature center for his biology class, and they found a number of different species ahead of the usual migration time. We got to hear their little heartbeats against our ears.
I know what a hat trick means from M's former Hockey interest. The only wildlife around here was an ant on the patio table and several two legged creatures going to the Bus Stop. Angelica

ReplyDeleteThe goldfinch found us at last and we're hoping for orioles and hummingbirds now that the weather is warm.
