New Year Resolution: Find a church to go to that does not have steps. Northeastern Baptist is nearby and also happened to be the place where we voted in November. It has no steps and there is easy parking.
In just two Sundays I know the names of 7 people of the congregation of about 380 and have been invited to the old ladies Sunday School class 4x. Most hymns are ones I know and the choir and other special music is excellent. I'm reserving my opinion of the sermons until I've heard a few more.
I know what you mean about stairs. Where I go the stairs are steep and I think I need a rope to pull me up. Did you just meet the 7 at church or did you know them previously? L.S.
ReplyDeleteI met them there. The teacher of the OLSS class happened to sit next to me the first Sunday and has been introducing me to those who sit nearby. Her name is Margaret.
