Sister sits on the porch every afternoon reading and enjoying the beautifully landscaped grounds. Every Thursday men arrive in a truck to cut the grass, trim the bushes and pick up palm branches. Before they left today, they came and wished her "Merry Christmas".
It looks like you are staying at a beautiful place and having beautiful weather! Some of my friends at the local dogpark are worried that the Mayan calendar is correct, and that tomorrow will be the last day of the world. :)

We're still here! How much snow did you get? We've started to watch the weather up north now that our return trip is a few days away.
ReplyDeleteAtom: Es ist für Euch schön den Winter ohne Schnee zu Weihnachten zu verbringen. Wir lieben Winter mit Schnee. Sonst ist es kein Weihnachten. Bis vorige Woche hatten wir eine Schneehöhe von 20 cm. Innerhalb von 2 Tagen war die weiße Pracht durch Regen und Plusgrade verschwunden. Wir werden auch keine weiße Weihnacht haben. Es gibt eine Bauernregel: Ist es zu Nikolaus (6.12.12)Weiß, ist Weihnachten grün.Gestern hatten hatten wir 7 Grad Plus, heute 3 Grad Minus. Armer Kreislauf. Trotz Kälte kommt kein Schnee. Bestätigung auch bei dem Wetterdienst.
