This afternoon a Sister visited who is of German descent so of course the conversation got around to our experiences in Germany and her cruise down the River Rhine. The dachshund who roams the halls of the Gardens is also of German descent but he had nothing to say about his ancestors. |
How nice to be able to talk about your travel experiences with another traveler . It's too bad you didn't go at the same time . Did she also have relatives there? DEP
ReplyDeleteShe has relatives there but being with a tour group she could not go to the small town where they were. We always stumbled and bumbled around on our own without a tour guide but we got to all the little towns of our ancestors.
DeleteYes, but being with a tour group she was't able to go to the small town where they lived.
DeleteDoes his bark sound German? Hope you are feeling well, Marilyn! We are praying for you and Aunt Naomi every day. We are off to the Canada cabin Saturday. We'll look for the Herbert C. Jackson and get a salute in your honor!
ReplyDeleteXOXOXO Susan et. al.
That trip on the Jackson is another great experience to reminisce about. Thank you for your continuing prayers.
