Progress Report

The first prospective buyer came to see the house today. I don't know how anyone can resist such a great place. But I think they wanted something at the water's edge where they could build their own dock. We're not quite ready to vacate anyway.

There was a very nice family get-together in Walker this afternoon. We celebrated my youngest sister's birthday. I remember watching her in the crib when she was a baby and running to tell mother the first time she turned over on her own. Today I heard the sweet children sing, "...happy birthday dear Grandma...happy birthday to you." How time flies!

  2. We had a wonderful time with you! The kids are enjoying the little panda paper shredder/pencil sharpener and the little blue cars. We're so glad you could make it....and we haven't killed your plants yet!
