The Fall of the Wall

The uniting of East and West Germany that followed the fall of the Berlin Wall twenty years ago has special meaning for us. Our beloved cousin Elisabeth in Leipzig and dear friends in the Meissen area lived on the other side of the "Iron Curtain".

There is no way I would have had the courage to cross the border into East Germany before the country was unified and we would never have experienced the joy of knowing Elisabeth and our German friends.

  1. Nevertheless you are unparalled in courage to have accomplished what you did do. We all admire your brave and adventurous spirit. We also had the joy of knowing Elisabeth and your and our German Friends. From an armchair traveler.

Arbeiten. Die Schulabgänger bekommen keine Lehrstellen.
