Brave Birds


The Nuthatch was one of several birds that came for a snack after the snow was brushed off of the feeder this morning.
The Downy Woodpecker enjoyed the suet.
It is only 7 degrees outside and streets and sidewalks are icy so we will not be going anywhere today. We are happy to be inside looking out at the winter wonderland.

    It was -5 degrees Fahrenheit when I took Wilson on a short walk and then drove Rachel to school this morning. Since it is actually a jogging path rather than a sidewalk that goes past our house, the city comes along with a little plow and shovels for us! Keep warm and safe!
