Kalamazoo did not get nearly as much snow as did the folks in Walker but nevertheless it kept us inside looking out. When the snow stopped at about 11 a.m. the ground crew shoveled the sidewalks, plowed the street and put down salt. So we ventured out in the afternoon to do business with the United States Government.
First we went to the U.S.P.S. to mail a package to Heidi in Germany and then to the Social Security Administration Office to start to untangle Sister's identity. There is confusion over her birth name and the name she has used for 50 years as a Sister of St. Joseph. Our business was completed quickly and successfully by friendly government employees. Seeing pictures of our beloved President and Vice President hanging on the walls in each place made our happiness complete!
Hi, hope everything is going great.. Well we are enjoying the first snow fall in our new home. We had to shovel and throw salt down.. We went today and cut down our christmas tree. It was a lot of fun. We hope you both have a great holiday... Kim
ReplyDeleteHello, The snow did not come our way yet, in Huntley. We have the snow brush in the car (just in case). The older I get, the less "thrilling" a lot of snow is. Although it is very pretty. D
ReplyDeleteI not only have a snow brush in car I also have four {treads} I sent in for a long time ago in case car gets stuck. We will get through the winter somehow after all isn't there global warming? LOL.
