Pfingsten

We sang, "They Will Know We Are Christians By Our Love" on Pentecost Sunday. What a great concept! Sing it, do it!

When we were in Germany we found that Pfingsten is a major holiday. Stores and restaurants are closed all weekend and school children are off all week. We had just arrived in Waren, (Mecklenburg) and did not have anything on hand to eat. Finally we found an open gas station that had snacks and a few groceries. We bought a jar of sausage and ate sausage for the next three meals. It was a Pfingsten to remember.
