We went to Aldi's yesterday and just went up and down the aisles to look at everything, but did not buy anything. Our breakfast buffet at the hotel is so wonderful that we do not really need to buy any food. Our favorite is Nurenberg sausage and German rolls. There is also a big selection of cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal, eggs, juices. etc. It costs about $50/day for breakfast for two, so you may be sure we eat plenty and take a little with us in a doggy bag for snacks later in the day. It has rained intermittently every day so we are content to take short walks when the sun comes out for a few minutes and enjoy watching the action on the river from our window when the rain begins again.
How long will you be there at your present location and when will QM2 pick you up? Did you manage to get together with any Plumbeck relatives? LS
