We watched Queen Mary 2 leave Hamburg from the window of our room. Our friends are staying at another hotel close enough that they can walk over to ours. We had a good visit and ended with having ice cream on the terrace overlooking the Elbe River. They brought me a cell phone so I'll be able to be in contact with people in Germany and not have to stay in the room by the telephone to get calls. They also brought our favorite beer that is made in Meissen. Cheers!
