Good Food and Exercise

We're both a little unsteady as far as walking in sand so we stroll on a nice long pier with railings on each side and benches every few feet. There are always a few fishermen on the pier but we have not seen any of them catch anything. A great blue heron perches on the railing watching and waiting for a free meal.

There is a restaurant at one end of the pier called "Rotten Ralph's" where we ate a few years ago when the California girls were with us. It has been a little cool and windy for us to eat at their outdoor tables so far. We eat at the apartment most of the time but for a couple of special celebrations we went to the Oyster Bar and Barnacle Bill's for seafood.

  1. I had nothing to do with the naming of that restaurant! But good you have something to remember me by. Dar's husband Bill had some serious surgery yesterday but came through it with flying colors. Doctor was so amazed by his acceptance of unclogging the artery, he didn't even put him in ICU after op. Back to reg room and should be home in day or two. Prayers answered. Got two orders yesterday for Nevada football team which is playing in Hawaii Bowl next week. Good day! Hope Bill's doesn't have barnacles on the seafood. rb
