We went to see this movie about Lincoln this morning in Sarasota. It was a great experience and will forever enrich our mental image of President Lincoln.
Several years ago, Sister bought the book, Team of Rivals by Doris Kerns Goodwin. The movie was based in part on the book and when we get home I'm going to read it and she may read it again. Let us know if you would like to read it next. We would be glad to pass it on.
Can't wait to see it, but I don't go to theaters. Too many distractions and I always sit near the person who likes to talk a lot during the movie. I just re-read a novel from my high school English class days p "To Kill a Mockingbird." It's still a good story.
