Champions!

Yes, the goal line stand will be the stuff of legends with Manti as the hero.   We wouldn't have missed it for the world.  We can tell our grandchildren that we watched it from a Motel 6 in Anderson, Indiana.  Well, at least we'll rehash the game and season with anybody we see on the beach wearing anything with a ND logo or having a car with ND license plates or sticker.

    You just might be on the beach when the Irish are in Miami playing for the National Championship! Think game is around 7th or 8th of Jan. RB

      I think we will be home again by then with the beach a happy memory. Who do you think their opponent will be?

    Crap! Bears winning 25-3 at halftime so the Hawaiians switched us over to Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta! This is just not right!

      We tried to get the end of the game as soon as we checked in to the motel but couldn't remember the network and couldn't find it by surfing. Thought it might be over. Glad to find out they were leading at half-time anyway.

    I do not know too much about what is going on in the sports world. How close are you to your destination?

    Concerning your blog a few days ago about stollen. On this Tuesday I am going on a big bus from Del Webb with a friend of mine to Chris Kindle in downtown Chicago. Maybe I can buy a stollen there. DEP

      Our Aldi stollen tastes better every day. We are having a couple of buttered slices for breakfast in the motel.
