We were among the first 500 customers to shop at the new Longboat Key Publix this morning so we each got a deluxe shopping bag.
We found a lot of upscale features including this Olive Bar.

Grand Opening
We found a lot of upscale features including this Olive Bar.
We were kind of nostalgic for the little old shabby store where we knew where everything was located. But this is Longboat Key after all and upscale is what it's all about. I saw more Mercedes, BMWs, and Lexuses in the parking lot than Fords or Chevolets. I'm glad it rained hard the other night so at least our old car looked clean.

Just hope those deluxe shopping bags are the kind you can reuse every time you go to store like ones here in HI. Use mine all the time so plastic doesn't go into ocean. Please be Green! Kermit.

ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed going to Publix when we were in Florida. They have wi-fi. And they also had small section with clothing. Do they still sell clothing? DEP
