Home again...brrrr!

All 433 miles of roadway was plowed clean as a whistle between Bowling Green and Kalamazoo.  There was plenty of snow on the trees and in the fields starting in northern Kentucky so we knew that Freyr had been there. We prayed earnestly for a safe trip and we are thankful to be home safely.

When we stepped in the door of the house, the smoke alarm was chirping and there was no heat.  I called maintenance and plugged in a couple of space heaters which promptly blew a fuse.  Billy, our favorite fix-everything man came running and stopped the chirping,  fixed the furnace, and restored the electricity.  The TV and computer did not work at first but as the rooms are slowing warming up, they are slowly coming back to life.

Thank you for your company on our journey.  I'm putting the blog in hibernation which is probably a good idea for us too.  So far, so good!
