Kentucky

It's a dark and rainy night... and we're thankful to be warm and dry under a red roof.     When in Kentucky one is reminded of the Derby and Lincoln's birthplace.  I stopped at the Welcome Center and got information about the log cabin where Lincoln spent his young boyhood.  Perhaps we will try to visit there next year.  I don't think we are interested in going to the Kentucky Derby in Lexington.  We would rather watch the race at home where a lady doesn't have to wear a hat.
