On Wednesday we had another nice visit with our friends from Meissen. They have been here in Hamburg all week and we really appreciate their help and friendship. They have tickets on the Louisiana Star which will accompany QM2 as she leaves Hamburg harbor tomorrow. It is a paddle boat which along with the Mississippi Queen take tourists on excursions around the harbor.
On Thursday our dear friends from Nieschuetz stopped by the hotel for a short visit after attending a family wedding in Hamburg.

ReplyDeleteFinally this computer at library let me catch up and you are already heading back across the Atlantic. Mike, Karla and kids left for Chicago last night and now have been stuck in Denver for two hours on plane, on tarmac, awaiting thunderstorms to pass. They will be so beat by time they hit Chicago, probably sleep the first two days there. Casica family reunion. Did you get to meet the Plumbecks or those above them? Safe voyage back to America.
